Banting in a Winter Wonderland

So it's that time of year again, when we all wrap up in jackets and scarves and hit the big city to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I, myself, love this time of year. It's so nice walking around town when all the lights are lit and the atmosphere is just unreal. Everyone's so happy and cheery, except my wallet.

But life goes on.

So today I popped into town with my numero uno babe, Suzy. We both needed to get a few bits so decided to head in early, which didn't exactly go to plan as I'm basically a lazy cint and slept in.
But we made it.
Susan was looking for a pair of Jeffrey Campbells and had her eye on a gorge pair of black ones. DIVINE.

Next on the cards was a faux fur leopard print coat for babes. We searched the length and breath of the town to find a coat, and at the last minute, all our prayers to St. Anto came true and the coat was found.
And what a beauty it is.

Next on the agenda was to find me a masso pair of Creepers that I've been gagging for since forever. We went to China Blue in Temple Bar and my heart was set on a pair on T.U.K Creepers in black suede.
Simply beautiful.
I'm well chuffed.

So I'm happy out. Had such a fun day in town with the Christmas lights n all.

OH HAI

So yes, i've neglected my blogspot a bit lately, sadface.

But I'm back and i'm ready and willing to share my life with the world once again.
Here's what's happening in my life en ce moment

 1. NEW FRIENDS.

Where do I start? 

I've possibly made the most amazing friends since starting college. Little by little I'm finding out where I belong and who I want to be around. The people that I've met are honestly the nicest, most caring, funniest, sexiest and most trustworthy people you'll ever meet. I'm really happy to have found such an incredible bunch of people.
I hope they're a part of my life for a very long time.

2. FREEDOM

Moving to Dublin was definitely the best decision I've made so far in my life.
It's where I belong, to put it in simpler terms. The freedom that I've experienced since coming to college has been amazing. Waking up in the morning knowing I can wear whatever I want and do whatever I please is extremely refreshing.
I can walk around campus safe in the knowledge that there's no-one looking me up and down or throwing dirty looks. Or at least if they are, I've learnt to not give a fuck.

Kudos.

3. FINDING MYSELF

As times goes on, I'm realising that I'm slowly but surely becoming the person I've always wanted to be.
I'm not there yet, as all good things take time, but I know I will be.
There's nothing better than being a part of something and knowing that you're accepted.
Recently there was a small fashion show that took place in college. Before coming to UCD I would have never had the balls to get up and strut my stuff on a catwalk in front of what, 500 people? I don't think I even would have auditioned for that matter. But I did, and it was probably the best fun I've ever had.
Again, I made amazing friends and gained so much confidence from the whole experience.
PLUS, I can say that I modelled for Topman and Urban Outfitters.

Life.

So yeh, that's it for now. Oh how I've missed this.
Expect lots from me in the next few weeks and months, I have a few projects coming up and stuff, so watch this space.
